We are seeking a skilled and experienced civil excavator operator to join our team in Mackay. The successful candidate will operate heavy machinery to assist in civil construction projects such as earthworks, roadworks, and site preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to move and load earth, rock, debris, and other materials.
- Perform trenching, grading, and digging tasks according to site plans and specifications.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery by conducting pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and specifications.
