Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking a qualified and experienced Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory skills, excellent customer focus, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sampling and testing fresh concrete as per Australian standards
  • Utilising knowledge of aggregates, admixtures, sands, and cement-based products
  • Routine Inspection of work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards
  • Performing computations and recording results of preliminary data
  • Collecting sample pre-mix concrete products for compliance testing
  • Working safely and accurately
  • Maintaining systems and processes to ensure ongoing NATA accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC regulations

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in laboratory and associated techniques activities in industrial science
  • Knowledge and ability to perform testing procedures in accordance with Australian Standards
  • Professional work ethic
  • An ability to take ownership and manage your own area of responsibility without close supervision
  • Customer focused and excellent attention to detail

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $95,000 per annum, plus superannuation. If you are a motivated and hardworking individual who enjoys sharing your knowledge to improve operational efficiency, we encourage you to apply.
