Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Underwriter to join our team. As an Underwriter, you will play a critical role in assessing and evaluating risks associated with agricultural insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite new business, renewals, and endorsements within delegated authority limits and underwriting guidelines.
  • Provide professional and market-leading service to brokers, ensuring high accuracy and meeting service delivery standards.
  • Support senior underwriters with signing off referrals and provide meaningful feedback.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in underwriting, broking, or related roles.
  • Proven expertise in underwriting, insurance principles, and product knowledge.
  • Experience in agriculture is preferred.
  • AQF Certificate IV in General Insurance (FNS41415) or AQF Diploma of General Insurance (FNS51115).
  • Strong business acumen with data analysis and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
