Position Overview

As a pivotal HR Business Partner reporting directly to the HR Superintendent , you will collaborate effectively to deliver exceptional solutions and outcomes. This role is based on-site with a FIFO roster, offering a permanent full-time opportunity.

Situated in a dynamic environment, you will excel in achieving all objectives and challenges while upholding fairness and integrity in your actions.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive and operational support by executing a variety of HR-related tasks and responsibilities.
  • Contributing to the development of tender proposals by addressing people-related issues through established processes.
  • Building strong relationships with HR counterparts of project clients to facilitate effective problem-solving and dispute resolution.
  • Offering expert guidance and policy interpretation to line managers regarding the full spectrum of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating training, coaching, and support for managers to ensure they understand their obligations in managing employee relations and industrial relations matters.
  • Maintaining positive employee relations by effectively resolving industrial issues and grievances, while ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements.
  • Participating in the ongoing review, enhancement, and implementation of HR procedures, forms, and processes.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a site-based generalist or specialist employee relations/industrial relations role providing operational support.
  • Previous experience within the Mining Industry.
  • A degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in grievance handling and crisis management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain a flexible, positive attitude.
