Job Opportunity:

 

The role of a Yard Operator is a permanent position within our organisation, offering ongoing work and the chance to operate heavy equipment and machinery in a hands-on yard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cleaning, greasing and staging diggers, rollers and heavy hire machinery

- Operating forklifts safely to load/unload equipment

- Assisting the team and management with plant preparation and machinery handling

- Performing yard and workshop duties to maintain a safe, tidy and organised workplace

Requirements:

- Forklift ticket (mandatory)

- Experience with heavy equipment, plant hire or industrial machinery

- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are advantageous

- A proactive team player who can work independently
