Dynamic Leader for Modern Payments Platform

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic engineering team and drive innovation in our modern payments platform.
This role involves tackling complex data engineering challenges, processing millions of transactions daily through a cloud-native platform that ensures accuracy, security, and exceptional performance.
About the Role- As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for driving technical vision and roadmap for your team's services, providing strong technical leadership while remaining hands-on with code.
- You will manage a cross-functional Scrum team of 5 Engineers, supporting their professional development and implementing advanced architectural patterns like event sourcing, CQRS, and distributed tracing to build resilient, performant systems.
- Additionally, you will partner with Product teams and stakeholders to define and deliver roadmaps that delight customers, enable business growth, and ensure technical excellence.
- 10+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience leading software engineering teams
- Proven success record managing engineering teams
- Strong technical leadership with demonstrable achievements in architecture, solution design, development, and scaled cloud delivery
- Deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, cloud platforms, and DevOps approaches including test and deployment automation
- Excellent stakeholder management and people leadership skills
- Track record of building positive team cultures that emphasize collaboration, growth, and excellence
- Lead by example through pair programming, code reviews, and technical spikes to solve complex engineering challenges
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery capabilities, technical processes, and operational assets
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain a high-performing team culture that fosters collaboration, growth, and excellence
