Lead Civil Construction Project Manager

About This Role:

This position involves leading project teams and delivering contracted works in the Gladstone Region. As a civil construction professional, you will be responsible for managing schedules, risks, safety, operations, and resources associated with project deliverables.

You will work individually and collaboratively to achieve exceptional outcomes while maintaining a safe and productive culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project teams and successfully plan, manage, and deliver projects in accordance with client requirements.
  • Lead project teams, managing schedules, risks, safety, operations, and resources associated with project deliverables.
  • Travel to various project sites to support successful project delivery and company goals.
Requirements:
  • Industry-recognised qualification in project management or equivalent.
  • Experience in civil engineering and project management.
  • Knowledge of the civil construction industry and current projects.
  • Experience in a civil-based business.
  • Experience in reinforced concrete structures.
  • Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in coordinating labour, resources, and procurement.
  • Highly effective in negotiating and communicating with clients and project personnel.
  • Experience contributing to tenders and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and implement scheduled programs of work.
  • Highly effective in adhering to legislation and standards for performance, quality, cost, and safety.
  • Current Queensland Open Driver's Licence.
  • General Construction Induction (white card/blue).

Candidates must be willing to travel regularly and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
