We are seeking a skilled construction professional to work on-site with our client in Gladstone. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and geotechnical engineering, as well as project management.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate is one who thrives when working in the field, enjoys leading and managing project teams, and sustains excellent client relationships.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing, reviewing, and revising construction documents, including specifications and contract drawings.
- Overseeing the entire construction effort to ensure projects are completed according to established design, quality parameters.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions and resolve technical issues.
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising field activities.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Monitoring and regularly reporting on project progress.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Project Management.
- CPEng / RPEQ certification or eligibility to apply within 12 months of joining.
- Demonstrated experience in project management within the mining or civil infrastructure sectors.
- Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and client service skills are essential.
