Job Description

This role involves supporting Bunbury and surrounding regions as their dedicated Transaction Banking Specialist, remotely from Perth. As a key member of our team, you will bring specialist expertise to originate new-to-bank opportunities and support existing clients with appropriate transaction banking solutions for their working capital and cash-flow management needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple transaction banking solutions, including Cash Management, Online Banking Platform: CommBiz, Merchant Solutions: Terminals and eCommerce, BPAY, Direct Debit, Corporate Cards, and Partnerships.
  • Develop close working relationships with key clients of varying complexity and internal stakeholders, using your ability to understand business requirements to provide innovative transaction banking solutions.
  • Proactively build a pipeline of new and existing transaction banking opportunities.
  • Have a deep understanding of our transaction banking product offerings and provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Engage with relationship teams to review transaction banking performance and initiatives to ensure opportunities are being identified and pursued.
Requirements
  • A successful track record of driving business opportunities.
  • A well-developed local network, commercial sales acumen, and forward-thinking ideas.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
  • Motivation, accountability, and the ability to build lasting business relationships.
  • Tech aptitude and knowledge of the payment industry.
  • Curiosity to get to know clients' business objectives to deliver timely and professional solutions.
