Catering Assistant Role

As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and providing exceptional dining service to our residents.

  • Provide meal service including assisting with meal preparation, serving meals and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Support colleagues and maintain a cooperative team spirit
  • Work safely by following policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential
  • Good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain
