Quality Site Welding is a small to medium-sized business based in Warragul, Victoria, employing approximately 35 staff members.

About You :

A Cert III engineering qualification is preferred, and project management qualifications are not necessarily required.

Position Summary :

The Project Coordination Specialist is responsible for driving and delivering every project on time and within an agreed budget. You will be required to plan projects and work with a team to undertake tasks. This position requires strong background knowledge in trades, business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis. The successful candidate will report directly to the directors of Quality Site Welding.

Key Requirements :

  • A strong engineering background
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Project management experience

Job Responsibilities :

  1. Continuous client communication
  2. Review and understand tender information
  3. Plan trade resources and allocate team members to project-specific tasks
  4. Efficient organisation and management of project procurement
  5. Conduct site visits on allocated projects
  6. Generate production methodologies and documentation
  7. Manage project drawing revisions and collaborate with draftspersons on development of workshop detail drawings
  8. Preparation and implementation of QA documentation for allocated projects
  9. Preparation and implementation of OH&S documentation for allocated projects
  10. Plan allocation of subcontractors to required projects
  11. Collaborate with workshop managers and oversee manufacturing
  12. Management of all deliveries for allocated projects
  13. Pre-booking vehicles for allocated projects (mobile plant and equipment)
  14. Collaboration on project details with site leading hands to ensure comprehensive handover to install teams
  15. Manage installations by following QSW installation procedures
  16. Liaise daily with install team members
  17. Finalise QA and project documentation
  18. Incident reporting on allocated projects
  19. Project financial management
