Delivering Patient Care through Food Services

We are seeking a reliable and punctual team member to join our Central Production Kitchen in delivering high-quality meal services to patients. This role requires strong demonstrated knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering and collecting meal trays and trolleys to and from service areas
  • Regenerating and preparing meals in line with production and clinical needs, including special functions
  • Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues regarding meal preferences and dietary needs
  • Cleaning and sanitising food trays, food preparation areas, and kitchen equipment
  • Operating dishwashers and other food service equipment safely and efficiently
  • Restocking pantries and trolleys; whilst maintaining food stock levels as required
  • Completing all food safety and cleaning documentation accurately and in a timely manner
About You

To ensure your success in this role, you will bring experience in food services within a hospital or aged care setting with a passion for patient care and nutrition. You have a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

You are also required to hold HLTFSE001: Follow basic food safety practices or SITXFSA001: Use hygienic practices for food safety.
