About the Role
St Leonard's College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Science Teacher to join our College community on a part time (approximate FTE of 0.6), fixed term basis for the 2026 school year.
Reporting to the Food Science Coordinator and the Head of Learning - Health, Sport and Exercise Science, the role will be responsible for teaching Food Science subjects, in a collaborative and progressive environment.
To be successful in this opportunity you will require:
Tertiary qualifications in Education.
Current VIT Registration.
A current knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (Food Science).
Previous experience teaching within an Independent School setting (preferred).
Knowledge of contemporary pedagogy and innovative use of ICT in the classroom to enrich learning.
Well-developed classroom management strategies that enhance student engagement and outcomes.
Be an active contributor to a collegial work environment.
Willingness to uphold the ethos and values of the College.
