About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled mental health professional to join our team as a Level 3 Social Worker in an inpatient oncology setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients with cancer, taking into account their complex needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Provide empathetic support to patients, families, and carers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
- A degree in Social Work or a related field is essential, along with current or eligible AASW registration.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in discharge planning, assessments, and communication, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
