Job Description:

As a sales professional, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the sales of our construction equipment range across the Western/South Western Melbourne & Country region.

Your primary objective will be to manage and grow customer relationships, as well as identify and pursue new sales opportunities. You will work closely with our Victorian Sales Manager to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing customer relationships within the territory
  • Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through daily cold calling and prospecting for new business
  • General marketing, trade shows, and related networking activities
  • Accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market, and competitor analysis
  • Meeting market share expectations and other KPIs provided by management
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven sales experience within the construction/earthmoving equipment industry or similar
  • A genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer service and develop positive relationships with customers
  • A motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic and analytical capability to assess value, including proficiency in CRM
  • Confident, courteous, and professional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • A valid driver's license
