Caregiver for Inclusive Living

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Fig Tree Pocket. As a Caregiver, you will be an integral part of our mission to provide person-centered care and support to individuals with varying needs.
About the RoleThis is a casual position that requires a minimum commitment of 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility to work early mornings (6am-9am) and evenings (3pm-10pm). You will be assisting clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, administering medications, and mobility support. A calm and confident demeanor, combined with excellent communication skills, is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities- Providing support with personal care, such as showering, toileting, dressing, and more
- Administering medications as required
- Assisting with transfers using hoists and slide sheets, and general assistance with mobility
- Domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation
- Community engagement, such as attending appointments, grocery shopping, or other activities of their choice
- A current First Aid and CPR certificate
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
- Commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including the use of PPE as directed
- A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
- An hourly rate based on your industry-related experience and qualifications
- Above award minimum pay level of $33.01/hr at Level 1.1 for those entering the industry
- Paid industry-leading training provided by health professionals to all employees
- Additional penalty rates for night and weekend shifts (as per the SCHADS Award)
