Child Development Specialist

EACH Victoria is committed to delivering health and support services that improve lives and strengthen communities. As a Child Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Supports: Work in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals using evidence-informed best practice.
- Assessment and Support Planning: Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options for each child and family.
- Caregiver Empowerment: Help families, caregivers, and professionals build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
- Community Connection: Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in settings and activities they choose.
- A tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or related field.
- Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
- Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
- Salary: Up to $18,550 per year through Salary Packaging and opportunity to purchase additional leave.
- Flexibility: Flexibility to work full-time/part-time from home, our Ipswich office, or within the community.
