Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing launch vehicle trajectories and vehicle performance under various conditions
  • Developing and submitting flight safety deliverables
  • Generating and presenting trajectory analysis products for internal and external partners
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, reliability, hardware, and regulatory partners
  • Engaging in multidisciplinary investigations to drive mission design and vehicle architecture
  • Supporting launch and mission operations of vehicles that you enabled

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in physics or an engineering discipline AND 5+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with orbital mechanics, classical dynamics, modeling, and simulation
  • Proficiency in software languages such as Python or C++

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in trajectory analysis and aerodynamics
  • Demonstrated project or professional experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines

Additional requirements include:

  • Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
