
Pioneering Trajectory Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing launch vehicle trajectories and vehicle performance under various conditions
- Developing and submitting flight safety deliverables
- Generating and presenting trajectory analysis products for internal and external partners
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, reliability, hardware, and regulatory partners
- Engaging in multidisciplinary investigations to drive mission design and vehicle architecture
- Supporting launch and mission operations of vehicles that you enabled
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in physics or an engineering discipline AND 5+ years of professional experience
- Experience with orbital mechanics, classical dynamics, modeling, and simulation
- Proficiency in software languages such as Python or C++
Preferred skills and experience include:
- 5+ years of professional experience in trajectory analysis and aerodynamics
- Demonstrated project or professional experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
Additional requirements include:
- Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
ITAR requirements apply: U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence is required.
