About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Victorian System Planning team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering critical planning obligations and providing strategic advice to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the Victorian Annual Planning Report (VAPR), Annual Fault Level Review (AFLR), system security planning, and network augmentation needs in collaboration with VicGrid distributors, other Transmission Network Service Providers (TNSPs), and AEMO's Integrated System Plan team.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on transmission planning to support informed decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other departments, to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to Victorian system planning.
  • Lead by example and foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and excellence within the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
