Opportunities for a Health and Safety Consultant

You will work as an independent consultant, providing a range of services to clients to assist them in managing their workplace health and safety. This role involves conducting on-site visits and risk assessments, reviewing WHS systems and providing advice and recommendations to clients.

  • Developing policies and procedures in line with regulations and codes
  • Conducting training sessions and programs for employees and managers
  • Coordinating the achievement of objectives in the WHS action plan

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS
  • Allied health qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience and understanding of the WHS Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice
  • Excellent communication style with the ability to engage in areas like risk management, consultancy and project management
  • Driver's license and own car
