Job Description

The role of Commercial Risk Underwriter is to assess and manage complex mid-market/corporate accounts. This involves providing quotations for new business, renewals, and endorsements, as well as managing workflows to ensure delivery of quality products and services.

As a senior member of the underwriting team, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and training other underwriters. You will also be expected to anticipate and provide solutions to customers' needs from available information, maximise retention of assigned accounts, and stay abreast of market conditions and trends.

  • Provide expert advice on commercial risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective underwriting policies and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and brokers.
