Enterprise Data Modelling Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Modelling Specialist to design and implement robust data architectures that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have 6-8+ years of experience in data modelling, including Data Vault 2.0 and Star/Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models for OLTP, OLAP, graph and NoSQL platforms.
  • Deliver new data strategies, flows and models across cloud and on-prem domains.
  • Establish and enforce data modelling standards, tools and governance.
  • Design interfaces, automated data loads, security controls and visualisation pathways.
  • Perform hands-on modelling, performance tuning, POCs and environment configuration.
  • Collaborate independently to reduce delivery risk and meet aggressive project timelines.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-8+ years in data modelling.
  • Experience across major DBMS platforms (MySQL, SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, Teradata, Snowflake, DB2, Netezza).
  • Cloud data warehouses / lakes experience, preferably AWS, plus Databricks exposure.
  • Proven ability to convert relational models to XML or JSON and vice versa.
  • ERWin, ER Studio or PowerDesigner expertise.
  • Agile or Scrum delivery experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Government / Fed Services or Health domain knowledge.
