Maintenance Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and ensure the optimal operation of our equipment.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting maintenance superintendents to achieve maximum equipment availability
  • Providing leadership and direction to all maintenance personnel, focusing on maintaining a safe, reliable, and productive site
  • Communicating daily with site/team to discuss operations, manpower, productivity, and equipment utilization
  • Approving invoice costs, requisitions, and confirming labour costs and works were completed to standards
  • Preparing reports, analyzing data, and making recommendations for improving and solving maintenance-related issues
  • Developing and implementing maintenance and preventative programs
  • Reviewing equipment operation and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory stock for spare parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Utilizing computerized maintenance management system (AMT) for planning maintenance and storing maintenance history
  • Working with operating equipment manuals to resolve product issues
  • Completing regular site visits, minimum 3-5 days per month

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A mechanical trade certificate with over 8 years of experience in mobile maintenance supervisory positions
  • Proficiency in AMT and entire maintenance-related packages
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, environment, and community
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
