Operational Leadership Opportunity in Depot Management

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to drive performance, safety, and efficiency at our Launceston depot.

This is a key role within the largest bus operator in Australia and New Zealand. You will lead a team of Supervisors and Administrators to meet daily operations targets and manage depot activities including scheduling, compliance, incident response, and contractor engagement.

  • Lead and support a team to ensure daily operations meet key network performance targets
  • Manage depot activities including scheduling, compliance, incident response, and contractor engagement
  • Drive safety, risk management, and operational improvements across the site
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, unions, and external stakeholders
  • Be the point of escalation for operational and people-related matters
What We Are Looking For:
  • Leadership experience in transport, logistics, or related operational environments
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
  • The ability to manage industrial relations, compliance, and operational standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a sound understanding of performance metrics
  • A current MR licence and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
