About the Role
As a female personal care worker, you will be working closely with registered nurses to deliver personalized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Preparing meals for clients
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Transporting clients to appointments and social activities
- Cleaning the house, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, and bathroom duties
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in client health or wellbeing to registered nurses
- Accurately documenting services provided in the care app
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in community care
- Dementia care experience (preferred)
- Certification in aged care
- First aid and CPR certification
- Police check
- NDIS screening check
- Working with children check
- Valid driver's license and access to a car with comprehensive insurance
