Job Description:

As the Team Leader of the Lending Settlement Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and delivering high levels of service.

You will ensure that workflows run efficiently, team members are supported and clear on expectations, and that settlements are completed accurately and on time.

All applicants please note, the location for this role is the Brisbane Head Office.

You will make an impact by:

  • Monitoring and evaluating team performance, overseeing, guiding and directing the day-to-day running of the business in line with target performance outcomes, and adherence to policy and procedure.
  • Closely reviewing team member performance, identifying areas of improvement and implementing the necessary coaching, training and development for team members.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer experience and satisfaction, intervening in any serious or complex complaints and ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure frictionless experience for customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' leadership experience in Financial Services or a related industry with strong capability in workforce planning, resource management, coaching, and performance uplift to drive team and organisational outcomes.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Operations, ideally with a comprehensive understanding of home lending and settlements, including cross-state settlement requirements.
  • Solid working knowledge of home settlement platforms, including PEXA. Exposure to Dye & Durham and LendFast would be advantageous.
  • Experience in leading through change, influencing across business units, and representing your business unit in strategic and risk discussions.
  • A minimum Diploma in leadership or a financial service-related field.
