Job Description

The Senior Clinician will provide expert assessment, therapy, and care coordination for individuals navigating mental health challenges in the community.

The clinician will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to promoting recovery and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed, culturally safe, intensive therapeutic interventions and integrated psychosocial responses to young people experiencing complex and severe mental health concerns.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the delivery of strengths-based and recovery-orientated mental health care and treatment.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership of AASW.
  • Extensive postgraduate clinical experience and knowledge in providing evidence-based mental health assessment and treatment for young people and their carers.
  • Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and competence in the use of information technology systems.
