About the Role:

The Senior Community Builder will lead the design and delivery of innovative programs that promote wellness, inclusion, autonomy, and connection among older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging experiences that reflect the diverse interests, backgrounds, and wellness goals of residents.
  • Foster resident participation through regular forums, surveys, and feedback sessions to ensure programs are responsive and inclusive.
  • Plan and deliver events, including social gatherings, educational workshops, wellness initiatives, cultural celebrations, and intergenerational activities.
  • Tailor programs to foster personal meaning and connection by integrating resident life stories, preferences, and feedback into program design.
  • Promote resident autonomy by aligning all engagement initiatives with wellness models that support purpose and social connection.
  • Secure funding opportunities to expand engagement opportunities.

Your Qualifications:

  • A passion for community-building and enhancing the lives of older adults.
  • Strong strategic thinking and program design skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in community engagement, program development, aged care, social services, or a related field.
  • A track record of identifying and securing grant funding or managing community-based funding initiatives.
