Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the organisation's software asset management function
  • Establish and maintain Software Asset Management policies, standards, and procedures
  • Utilise ServiceNow or equivalent tools to maintain a centralised software asset repository
  • Monitor licensing agreements, renewals, and usage trends to identify cost optimisation opportunities
  • Collaborate with procurement, finance, and ICT operations to support the software asset lifecycle
  • Conduct software audits and reconciliation activities to ensure compliance and proper licensing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT Asset Management within medium to large ICT environments
  • Strong knowledge of licensing models for major software vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle)
  • Practical experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms for asset discovery and compliance tracking
  • Solid understanding of ITIL practices, particularly in Asset and Configuration Management
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret asset data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical, procurement, and executive teams
