ICT Support Specialist (Customer Care)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICT support specialist to join our team in Melbourne on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide essential support, education, and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure. You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical problems, directly contributing to engineering and product development success.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLM software support and experience with Siemens Teamcenter. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Responding to inquiries and providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for PLM, CAM, and CAD software and hardware problems.
  2. Providing support to clients for Siemens PLM solutions, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and minimal disruption to business operations.
  3. Determining software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to client issues.
  4. Diagnosing, identifying, and resolving system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows to ensure minimal downtime.
  5. Installing, downloading, and configuring PLM system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter and its integrations, ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment.
  6. Liaising with users and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in PLM software support, with a minimum of X years in a similar role.

Benefits:

  • An annual salary of $80,000 - $90,000 plus bonus and superannuation.
