About the Position

This Strategic Advisor for Financial Institutions will be responsible for providing senior-level strategic sales cycle support on relevant solutions for the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales, consulting, or industry solutions within the financial services industry.

Key Accountabilities

  • Leads the development of industry business plans aligned with Sales leadership in Australia and New Zealand and Industry Business Unit.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and develops targeted strategies to achieve those goals.
  • Provides guidance to Enable/Industrialize Sales, Marketing, Inside Sales, and the broader Virtual Account Teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience in sales, consulting, or industry solutions in the financial services industry, including minimum 4 years of software-related roles.
  • Additional experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
  • Experience in diverse technology landscapes and process/technology integration issues.
  • SAP product experience and/or prior relevant industry/solutions experience viewed as an industry/solutions expert across SAP capable of leveraging an extensive network on behalf of SAP resulting in pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Experience with IT/business alignment issues.
  • Experience with executive interview techniques.
  • Experience designing and facilitating executive workshops aligning diverse perspectives and expectations.
  • Experience building and retaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Advanced knowledge of value selling methodology & processes, opportunities, value chain, and ecosystem analyses experience.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required; MBA or equivalent degree from an accredited university preferred.
