Job Title:

Building Maintenance Officer

Job Description:

The Building Maintenance Officer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and repairs on Council-owned properties, including community facilities, public amenities, corporate buildings, depots, and other assets. This role will also assist in the management of Council's asset portfolio by conducting regular condition inspections.

As a key member of the Property and Facilities team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and contribute to the delivery of effective and timely property maintenance services.

Requirements:
  • A Class Manual Driver's Licence
  • Current General Construction Induction card (White Card)
  • Demonstrated experience in performing general building maintenance
  • Physical ability to carry out manual tasks and operate hand and power tools
  • Sound knowledge of safety practices and ability to follow safe work procedures
