Career Opportunity: Financial Specialist

About the Role

The Southern Region Office is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to provide analytical, accounting, and financial system support. The successful candidate will coordinate the finance function to meet business objectives, focusing on best practices, quality assurance, standardized reporting, and ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.

This role is a key part of the Business Management Team, offering support and guidance to District Commanders and Managers. The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, accounting, or equivalent industry experience, and membership with a professional accounting body.

Key responsibilities include managing transactional financial systems, functions, and monthly reporting, as well as providing financial advice to Commanders and Managers to support decision-making.

Requirements
  1. Obtain and maintain necessary security clearances.
  2. Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, business, accounting, or equivalent industry experience.
  3. Membership with a professional accounting body.
