About The Opportunity

Capstone Technology is partnering with the Chief Information Officer of a renowned institution to appoint a Program Director and Platform Owner. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of all workstreams related to the Enterprise Platform and its ongoing maintenance.

This is a Fixed-Term Contract initially, with potential for extension or permanency. It requires 2 days per week on-site in the Illawarra region of NSW.

Key Accountabilities
  • Program Planning & Management: Develop project plans, manage finances, risks, dependencies, oversee schedules, and report on program status.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Act as the main communication point for platform initiatives, liaising with IT teams, executives, and vendors.
  • People Management & Resource Allocation: Create and maintain an optimal resource strategy, develop high-performing teams, and manage capabilities, finances, and skills.
  • Governance & Risk Management: Establish governance structures, align assurance and risk processes, and ensure documentation and maintenance.
  • Communication: Handle negotiations, conflict resolution, influence outcomes, and manage project communications.
  • Financial Management: Forecast and manage budgets, report financials, and handle vendor contracts.
  • Platform Ownership: Develop platform roadmap and strategy, oversee capabilities, and stay updated on technology changes for improvements.
Key Requirements
  • Significant experience delivering complex enterprise app/platform programs involving digital and business transformation.
  • Background in enterprise technology, especially ServiceNow platform experience.
  • Ability to work closely with executives, business units, IT, and vendors, influencing outcomes and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Skills in risk management, financial management, project planning, dependency management, contract management, and technical leadership.
