Property Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of properties and completing financial reports relating to property operations and integrity.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring financial accuracy and integrity for allocated property assets;
  • Producing accurate monthly financial reports, including profit & loss, revenue verification, balance sheet reconciliations, property forecasts, and budgets;
  • Preparing analytical data for the management team;
  • Contributing to outgoings audits, responding to audit queries, and conducting periodic reviews of financial information to ensure integrity;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders (internal and external) and providing financial advice and support when required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A thorough understanding and 3+ years' experience working in a property accounting role;
  • Experience in property accounting (essential);
  • Experience in MRI Property Software (highly desirable);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products (Word, Excel);
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills;
  • CPA or CA qualified or currently studying (highly desirable).
