About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Qantas Group. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our automation scripts suite and improving our CI infrastructure. You will also be manually testing mobile applications and fostering a culture of quality within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts suite
  • Improve CI infrastructure
  • Manually test mobile applications
  • Foster a culture of quality within the team

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with version control tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD, PR reviews
  • Experience in embedding best practice in application testing within project delivery teams
  • Experience researching and troubleshooting bugs and performance bottlenecks in a production environment
  • Ability to perform manual testing
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with Unit, Integration, System, End to End, UAT, PVT etc functional testing techniques
  • Extensive proficiency in mobile testing + performance testing of API's
  • Mastery in formulating and implementing testing strategies and plans, as well as effectively communicating and advocating for these strategies and estimates with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Splunk, Swagger etc
  • Experience engaging technical and non-technical partners, with the capability to influence
