Associate Director Regulatory Risk Management

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Regulatory Risk Management to join our team. As a key member of our operational risk management team, you will play a critical role in providing first-line governance for transaction reporting to regulators and associated controls.
Your primary responsibility will be to help the teams manage risk and operate in a compliant manner by providing appropriate oversight and governance of operational risk deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Managing governance forums to ensure operational and compliance issues are reviewed and compliance impacts are agreed.
- Identifying and assessing operational and compliance risks and helping to mitigate their impacts.
- Working with operational teams to review issues, incidents, and statistical reporting to diagnose root causes and improve business processes.
- Ensuring stakeholder transparency on risks and issues through the use of KRIs and other MIS.
- Managing regulator inquiries, issues, and treatment plans.
- Ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are in place.
We are looking for an experienced risk management professional with a proven track record of assessing risks in a data reporting environment. You will have experience of developing metrics for reporting and their associated monitoring and controls.
You will also have demonstrable attention to detail and a strong ability to execute and persist in ensuring issues are followed up and closed out.
Regulatory experience is helpful but not essential. We are looking for someone with a growth mindset who is eager to learn and take on new challenges.
