Job Title: Academic Resource Coordinator

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing interlibrary loan requests, ensuring students and staff have access to the resources they need. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

This position involves working closely with the library team, following established processes while having opportunities to engage with students and staff in a dynamic environment. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about supporting teaching excellence and enhancing student learning.

  • Experience working with systems, creating and editing data records, and other technologies such as scanning.
  • A basic understanding of copyright as it applies to the academic environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Completion of a diploma level qualification together with relevant experience in a library or similar environment, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.

  • Direct knowledge or experience with higher education and college administrative processes and legislative requirements.
  • An understanding of Interlibrary loans within an academic environment.
  • An understanding of the role of Readings and information resources to teaching and learning in an academic environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with reading lists, bibliographic databases, and other technologies used in an academic environment.

You will be a welcoming presence, assisting library users through various service channels. Whether leading library tours, conducting student orientations, or providing front-desk support, you will be helping to make the library an accessible and valuable resource for all.
