Academic Leader and Library Strategist



Job Description:

The Head of Library will lead a dynamic library in an academically selective and high-achieving senior secondary school. This pivotal role directly impacts the quality of learning and teaching by optimising student outcomes through exceptional access to educational resources, innovative library programs, and the integration of information literacy and technology into teaching and learning.

  • Proven library leadership experience in higher education or senior secondary setting
  • A strong understanding of, or willingness to learn International Baccalaureate (IB) programs to teach research skills, develop research-based assignments with staff, and provide guidance on academic integrity within the IB framework
  • Commitment to the school's values (from 2025) of Respect, Integrity, Courage and Compassion
