Ambulance Transport Attendant Opportunity

Are you a healthcare professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking an experienced Ambulance Transport Attendant to join our team.

As an Ambulance Transport Attendant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment during the transport of patients with various medical conditions. You will maintain positive working relationships with clients, work independently and solve problems within established policies and procedures, and collaborate effectively with team members.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  1. Perform patient assessment and intervention.
  2. Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with all guidelines and within the prescribed scope of practice.
  3. Work independently and solve problems within established policies and procedures.
  4. Collaborate effectively with team members.
  5. Maintain understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations to support best practices.

Qualifications include being qualified as an Ambulance Transport Attendant, Ambulance Officer, or Division 1 Registered Nurse. Recent graduates from the Diploma of Paramedical Science or Bachelor level education must have completed 400 supervised clinical on-road placement hours, with logbook evidence in accordance with guidelines.

Additional requirements include holding a current Victorian Driver's License and being able to drive in city and rural traffic conditions. Experience in the non-emergency patient transport sector is desirable but not essential.
