Operational Technology Program Manager

A career-defining opportunity awaits an experienced and skilled Operational Technology (OT) Program Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of OT projects spanning energy generation sites and corporate systems. This key role will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of OT programs across multiple energy generation sites, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity standards.

Job Description

This is a dynamic and purpose-driven organisation at the forefront of Queensland's clean energy transition. As the Operational Technology Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of OT programs across multiple energy generation sites
  • Managing stakeholder engagement across technical, operational, and executive levels
  • Ensuring projects meet safety, quality, budget, and timeline expectations
  • Coordinating site travel and on-ground project activities with minimal disruption to operations
  • Driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation across OT systems and processes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this critical role, you will require:

  • Proven experience managing complex OT or ICS programs in asset-intensive industries, such as energy, utilities, mining, or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of SCADA, PLCs, telemetry, and cybersecurity in operational environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience working in government-owned or regulated environments is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel to regional sites as required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, such as PMP or PRINCE2, and/or asset management
