Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Forecasting Analyst to join our team in supporting the development and implementation of short-term forecasts for electricity demand, distributed photovoltaics (PV), and variable renewable energy generation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational forecasting models, collaborating with weather providers, and contributing to operational advisories and market reports.


Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in science, engineering, mathematics, meteorology or a related statistical discipline.
  • Experience in the energy sector or similar industry, preferably in an operations, forecasting or analytical role.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, including experience preparing high-quality reports and presentations.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and statistical modelling techniques, including PowerBI, Databricks, SQL and Excel.
