Marketing Communications Coordinator Position

We are seeking a dynamic and creative marketing professional to join our team as a Marketing Communications Coordinator.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a flair for digital content and a passion for engaging audiences. As a Marketing Communications Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing digital-first marketing campaigns and engaging content across various platforms.

  • You will design and produce multimedia content and creative assets that align with our brand and strategic objectives.
  • You will coordinate and optimise our online presence through analytics, social media strategies, and website updates.
  • You will support key initiatives including the AUSCERT Podcast, annual conference, and member communications.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including content creation for websites, blogs, and press releases.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging with stakeholders, media, and high-profile speakers.
  • Proficiency with CMS platforms, social media tools, and general computing skills.
