Job Title: Data Integrity Champion

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Integrity Champion. In this role, you will be responsible for championing data integrity across the Patient Administration System (PAS) database shared by Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health Districts.

You will identify, resolve, and prevent duplicate patient and client registrations across our facilities, and guide staff on best practices for registration and record merging. Your work will support digital health infrastructure including the NBMLHD electronic health care record, the State Enterprise Registry (EPR), the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR), and the National My Health Record.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion data integrity across the PAS database and coordinate with facilities to identify and resolve duplicate registrations.
  • Provide guidance to staff on registration best practices and record merging processes.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of digital health records and related systems as part of our initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a sound understanding of the importance of patient/client records and accurate client registration, including privacy/confidentiality requirements and data reporting. You will also need to have demonstrated experience in using databases and software, and the ability to work with patient/client registration systems and analyse patient data.

You must be able to work at different physical facility locations across the district as required, and have a positive attitude and flexibility to maintain work standards and service focus in changing environments.
