Job Role: Integration Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Solutions and Interoperability Team as an Integration Specialist. The role plays a crucial part in the development, support, and maintenance of our electronic Medical Record (eMR) system.

We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in planning, developing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions in large and complex organisations. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills working across a range of web, server, database, mobile, and integration languages and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • eMR management, including development, support, and maintenance
  • Overseeing application lifecycle, including development, implementation, and support for digital health platforms
  • Solution design and development using new technologies
  • Expert consultation for Single Digital Patient Record preparedness for business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Project Management expertise for Digital Health Services Team
  • Risk Management, Vendor Management, collaboration with internal DHS teams for training, change management, and security & compliance
  • Other responsibilities would include people of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in planning, developing, coordination, implementation, and maintaining data integration solutions in a large and complex organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent
  • Well-developed technical skills working across a range of web, server, database, mobile, and integration languages and technologies, preferably Rhapsody, MuleSoft,.Net, NodeJS, Java
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills including the ability to resolve complex incidents that impact on the program in a timely and efficient manner that meets SLA requirements
