We are seeking a Tax Manager to lead our tax compliance activities and drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust taxation procedures, processes, and controls throughout Australia.
Principal Responsibilities- Manage tax compliance activities and provide tax advice associated with all state and federal taxes, including income tax, transfer pricing, goods and services tax, fringe benefits tax, PAYG installments, payroll tax, employee share schemes, stamp duty, and withholding tax
- Promote tax risk management and corporate governance protocols over regional tax matters and establish internal processes and reports as required for tax reporting purposes
- Communicate relevant tax changes and provide technical training for business units
- Identify scope for continuous improvement in gathering data and in completing all existing state and federal administered taxes
- In cooperation with Group Transfer Pricing team, ensure transfer pricing is commercially viable by adopting prescribed methodologies and performing comparative bench-marking as appropriate

You will be an ambitious and energetic candidate with a CA/CPA qualification and 7+ years broad Australian Tax experience. This will be your first move outside of practice.
A Business/Commerce Degree (Accounting major preferred) and professional qualifications (CA/CPA) are essential. You will also be based in Melbourne with monthly travel within Australia (east-coast) required.
