We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant with 3+ years' experience to join our Business Advisory and Tax Services team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys client engagement, problem-solving, and working across a broad range of businesses. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for completing preparation of financial and management accounting reports for review by senior members of the team. Increased practical experience along with an improved theoretical base will allow for career progression.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for a wide range of entities, including large and audited businesses
- Preparing and reviewing BAS, GST, and FBT returns
- Advising clients on general accounting and taxation matters
- A relevant degree in Commerce, Accounting, or similar
- At least 3 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
- CA or CPA qualification (completed)
- Strong understanding of tax technical issues within a business advisory context
- Confident communicator with experience in face-to-face client interactions
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A team player who enjoys mentoring junior staff
- Professional, personable, and proactive in approach
