We are the professional association for Australia's technology sector, with a strong presence across business, government, and education. Our mission is to power Australia's future through technology, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Member Services & Events Coordinator.



Key Responsibilities

  • Event Management: Collaborate with our team to develop and deliver a variety of events, from conferences to networking sessions. Manage the event calendar, planning, budgeting, and execution with precision.
  • Event Marketing: Craft engaging content and manage registration processes to ensure our events are a success.
  • Office Administration: Provide administrative support to manage the professional presentation and operation of our office.
  • Membership Engagement: Connect with our members to foster a vibrant ACS Australia community.


About You

  • Experience in a Member Services or Event Coordination role, preferably in a member-based organisation or corporate environment.
  • Exposure to developing event marketing strategies.
  • Experience in a senior role within an events team and a proven ability to understand complex reporting lines and manage competing demands.
  • Well-developed verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation, both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, work independently, and use initiative and problem-solving skills to organise and prioritise competing deadlines.
  • Ability to gain credibility with ICT professionals across all levels.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to manage client expectations.
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with an ability to identify problems and offer solutions in a timely manner.
  • Experience and intermediate knowledge using Microsoft Office suite of programs and other software applications and managing databases, including Salesforce CRM systems.
