About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Specialist - O&M Power to join our Operations and Maintenance team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a fixed-term contract opportunity that will see you play a critical role in business improvement for power assets.
As a Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for driving operational improvement initiatives and delivering projects to uplift power capability within the business. You will work closely with the State Manager to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance operational readiness.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Readiness: Manage and support O&M readiness programs for new power assets, ensuring seamless integration into our operations.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical input on O&M activities and learning solutions for power generation assets, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Incident Management: Assist in root cause investigations of incidents and operational equipment failures, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Compliance and Safety: Promote compliance with safety regulations and identify hazardous working conditions, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by adopting innovative technologies or processes, driving operational excellence and enhancing our competitive advantage.
