About the Role:
The Eating Disorder Research Program at St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team. As a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team to solve complex diseases, including obesity and eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in neuroscience, molecular biology, and physiology to advance our understanding of eating disorders and obesity.
- Develop and implement research projects, including study design, data collection, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, researchers, and other stakeholders.
- Write high-quality journal articles and grant applications.
- Contribute to the development of research proposals and funding applications.
Requirements:
- PhD in biomedical or life sciences from a recognized institution.
- Understanding of and experience with the skills and techniques required for this role.
